Hello lovely humans! Today's blog post I am blessing you with some music recommendations by yours truly. Don't know if this type of blog post is of any interest to any of you, but I personally love finding new music to listen to! So here are some of my favourite albums from the month of June, I have placed the album art over some random beach photos that I never had the chance to share. Thought it would make it more interesting, hahah i don't know. I hope you enjoyyyy
#1 Young Men - The Walters

I've been slightly obsessed with this album ever since I discovered it, and it had been played an unhealthy amount of times. I'm no music expert so I'm not even going to attempt trying to describe the sound and vibes of this album, but the band themselves have described their music as 'cardigan rock', which actually works pretty well ahah.
Definitely give these three tracks a listen, if not the whole album!
Best tracks:
- I Haven't Been True
- City Blues
- Goodbye Baby
#2 Superclean Vol.1 EP - The Marias

This EP was released last year, but I've only just come across it in the past month or so.
The Maria's are relatively new, they are a Los Angeles based band formed in late 2016. (thanks google) They describe their music as psychedelic soul which is think is a pretty accurate description.
Best tracks:
- Basta Ya
- I Like It
- I Don't Know You
#3 Changes - Vacations

Next up Vacations, an indie rock band based in Newcastle, Australia (Yay for Aussie bands) with their debut album, Changes.
I'm 99% this is their debut album, released this year. It's so amazing, and just makes me want it to hurry up and be summer again. Playing this on a road trip is high up on my list of summer activities haha.
Best tracks:
- Moving Out (BESTT)
- Be There
- Honey
#4 The Symposium - The Symposium

The Symposium are a British punk pop band from the UK. I actually came across one of their most recent albums, called Drugs and listened to that on repeat until I had to force myself to listen to something else. (Also an amazing album and would 100% recommend) So naturally, I began searching for more music by this band and fell absolutely in love with their very first, self titled album, The Symposium. It was released in 1998, but I hadn't even heard of them until this year. But I'm so happy that I have added their music to my collection!!
Best tracks:
- Synth Song
- Streems
- The Physical Attractions
#5 Prize/Reward - Good Morning

A Melbourne duo!! I am in love with their music, I'm unsure how long they've been around. But this is their most recent album, released this year.
Their music is super effortless and really easy to listen to.
Earlier albums by these guys are just as good, but I'm really into all of the tracks on this album, they are super cool.
Best tracks:
- Who's to Blame
- Just a Man
- $10
#6 Bankrupt! - Phoenix

Had to include an old favourite! I hadn't listened to this album in ages, I've got Wolfgang Amadeus and Ti Amo CD's in my car, so those albums are always being played. But I recently added this CD to the car collection and I forgot how damn good this album is! Not to mention how amazing the album art is.
This french band has honestly created some of the best music, so easy to listen to and so different to any other artists.
Best tracks:
- S.O.S in Bel Air
- Don't
- Chloroform
I could go on for a while, but I thought I'd stop myself at 6 albums. Let me know if you enjoyed this post, or if you frankly couldn't care less about my music recommendations hahaha,
Lotta love, Sim xx
