5 ways to elevate your look

one: accessorise!!
add some funky eyewear, bags, jewellery. anything and everything! I've paired this look with some statement tortoiseshell earrings from Witchery as well as a unique thrifted bag and some red tie sandals! Cool accessories really do make or break an outfit, and also make it look like you put a lot more thought into a look than you actually did!
two: tuck or tie
Tuck in the front of your tshirt for an effortlessly cool look, or tie it in a knot to accentuate your waist and show off those high waisted trousers. The top is these photos is actually super long, I just tucked it under into my bra and voila, a crop top! Always try to think outside the box, something as simple as rolling your sleeves up or the amount of buttons you have done up will make all the difference to a finished look.
three: experiment with makeup.
I'm not much of a makeup fanatic, but adding a bold red lip or a bold winged eyeliner can certainly complete an outfit. I'm partial to a red lip, the one I'm wearing in this post is #999 by Dior.
four: go for monochrome
Having trouble trying to pair things together? why not go for all one colour. This instantly adds a point of difference to a look and will instantly make you look more fashion forward.
five: add a raw hem
A raw hem is such a nice detail to an outfit and can really make a difference to the overall vibe of the look. I literally cut the bottoms off all of my jeans, that way I can make them the perfect length for me and I have the cool added detail of a fraying raw hem. Simply cut your denim, put it in the dryer for a little bit and then you're good to go.
